DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN GOOD FEELINGS
WITH EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE!
Feel what you feel, pause, and choose
Anxiety, anger, and sadness are not the problem. Being run by them is. Resilience is the ability to feel what you feel, pause, and then choose what you do next.
This course teaches that pause, and it builds the new habits that make the pause easier each time.
What you will be able to do
By the end of this course you will still have feelings, but they will not run you. You will feel the anger, the anxiety, or the sadness, pause, and choose what to do next, instead of doing what the feeling tells you to do.
You will come back to steady faster each time, so that hours lost to a bad mood become minutes. The people around you will get a steadier you, and you will get your days back.
Who this course is for
This course is for you if your feelings arrive fast and stay long, if you lose hours or days to a bad mood, or if you want to be steadier for the people around you.
It is also for you if you have been told you are “too sensitive” and you are tired of hearing it. Sensitivity is not the problem. What you do in the first minute after a feeling hits is, and that can be learned.
What you will learn
To understand where your strongest negative feelings come from. To picture the life you want, with your emotions working for you instead of against you. To notice an unhelpful emotional reaction as it starts, and step back from it.
To put a pause between what happens and how you react, so there is room to choose. To shift the Limiting Beliefs that keep the painful feelings coming, the old conclusions about yourself that you have carried since childhood.
To practice new emotional habits until steadiness becomes your normal.
How the course works
The course is self-paced and online, and you can use it on a computer, a tablet, or a phone. You start when you like, stop when you like, and pick up where you left off.
Every lesson has the same shape. It tells you what you will learn. It teaches one thing, with real people and real conversations. It asks you to write, in your own private journal. You listen to a guided audio visualization, which is where the new response gets practiced in your body, not only understood in your head.
Then the lesson sends you back into your life with an Action Goal: one thing to do before you return. When you come back, the next lesson asks how it went. That is how what you learn on the screen turns into what you do in your kitchen, your office, and your own head.
Most lessons take about an hour, and most people do one or two a week. (Confirm.)
